Rosehip, Rosa Rubiginosa, Rosa Moschata or Rosa Canina

In Chile the name Rosehip applies for three different species of Rosacea family (R. Rubiginosa, R. Moschata y R. Canina). The Rose genre its composed of up to 100 different kinds, but in Chile the most common is Rosa Rubiginosa

Rosehip has various applications such as aromatic infusions, cosmetic products, marmalade, drugs and medicinal oils among others. Its a powerful antioxidant that favor inmune system, stimulates skin grow and cell regeneration and improves digestion due to its diuretic effect.

It is also known as the “eternal youth fruit” due to its powerful regenerative properties. Active components found are high content of vitamin B, C and K, and citric acid
